A mecca for water sports enthusiasts! Consistent wind conditions mean that Tonnara is one of the top beaches in Corsica for windsurfing and the increasingly popular sport of kite surfing.
With plenty of other activities on offer, good swimming and two restaurants, the beach is positively buzzing with happy holidaymakers!
Beach Description
Tonnara is a long, wide windswept beach with relatively coarse white sand. It is famous for strong year-round westerly winds, which attract numerous windsurfers and kite surfers. Their spectacular antics in the distance across the bay are fun to watch while you relax on the beach or in the restaurants.
Despite the wind, the swimming is good and there are also good snorkelling opportunities around the rocks.
